It is an excellent second food for fry of rainbowfishes and other egglayers once they have out grown Fine Fry Food. It is designed as a high protein, full diet for fry. Coarse Fry Food floats at the surface for a short while before slowly drifting down through the water column. Fry are attached to it and eagerly feed, promoting good health and rapid growth. Goliad Farms, Inc., our feed tester and breeder of high quality tropical fish, feeds it to all their livebearer, anabantid, tetra, barb, and rainbowfish fry. Goliad Farms feeds Coarse Fry Food three times a day. Because of its attractive taste and smell, fish of most kinds eagerly eat it.
